I-485 transfer from one local office to another local office

Subject: [immigrationforum] I-485 Case Transfer from one local office to other local office

I am living and working in California for last six years and my company
head quarter is NewJersey. My company filed I-485 at Vermont NSC. I
received FingerPrint Notice to appear at NJ, but i finished it at
california itself. Vermont NSC transfered my case to NEWARK NJ local
office to schedule interview.

Can i transfer my case to California? Are they any risk involved?
will it delay my case if transfer to california?

Any inputs are welcome. Please help.

Transfer Case

I did the same like you I gave fingerprint in Oakland, CA. But my case transferred to Albany, NY. According to my friends it takes long time for interview in Newark, NJ.

Compare to San Jose, CA and San Francisco, CA. In San Francisco district office now a days they are getting interview within one month. According to me it better if you are going to stay in California fix a local attorney in CA to speed up the process either to San Jose or San Francisco according to your
Zip code.
