the spreadsheets you provided do not make any sense for the adjustment of status based on asylum. now is not normal time for adjustment. did not you see some persons with ND 2001 already getting approval? my laywer told me even though you file you I -485 on beginning of 2005, you may be get your GC in 2 or 3 years. he is for sure.

Still USCIS goes by Processing dates. If you call those FU**ERS they will say oh we are still processing 12/99 cases.....its not fair..2 years only 8 months of processing..that is sad!...NO matter who is getting approved, unless they update their processing date, we have no right to fight etc...

I agree with you...and you have got my point. CIS has been updating most of the timelines for other immigration cases and they made meaningful progess in the last two years. Sadly, only asylee's I-485 timeline or cut-off date remains stagnant and doesn't seem to go beyond the 20th centrury !! If I were not part of this forum, there is no way I could know that CIS is processing cases with ND beyond 1999. I am pretty sure that other asylees with ND'00 and beyond, and who do not get information from a forum like this one, would believe that CIS is still processing cases before 12/99. I don't understand why CIS doesn't want to update the processing date? why, why, why???

Eventhough they are processing cases anywhere from 6/00 - 10/00 NDs now, maybe they just don't want to put the news out there and over-excite the hungry people like us. Next thing you know, USCIS getting flooded with phone calls with Asylees checking their status and asking random questions which USCIS is not capabale of handling at this point.

from my point of view, i feel anyone with 2000 ND are more likely to get GC this year, i just dont give a damn about their processing date of 12/99...they never change it.... :D
