I-485 & Spouce question

I had few questions regarding I-485.

I filed my 485 application on Sept 30, 2005.

What is the probability that my 485 application gets approved in this whole scheme of things ( I heard USCIS approved about 25K Green Cards on July 1, 2007)? my LUD is March 07 when the case was transferred from VSC to TSC.

if my 485 gets approved what does it do to my Wife's application? (I was trying to send her application in on July 2, 2007 but i am not sure about the status of the application after revised USCIS bulletins).

Our marraige date is Nov 9, 2005.

I am currently in H1-B and my wife is on H-4.

my details are

EB-2 India, PD 12 Aug 2005.

Please check your I-485 LUD if its not 06/30 or 07/01 then the chances are that visa number may not have been allocated to that case, you may have to wait till oct.

Better send the 485 for spouse, it may be accepted by USCIS after the AILA lawsuit.
 
I checked my LUD. it is 5/4/2007. that was the date when my 2nd FP was done.

I did send my wife 485 to USCIS. I have not received it back ?

Hence the reason of worrying..

Similar situation.
I applied for my 485 before marriage in 2003 and my 485 was approved last month , I received my GC recently.
I was able to file the 485 for my wife also in June as thats when it became current.
Now I got married last year when the dates were not current and when my 485 was still pending.
The rule is as long as you were married at the time of 485 adjudication you can apply for your dependents even after approval and within 180 days of approval.
 
Here is a scenario

I hear you all, but here is the scenario which i am afraid off.

and frankly looking at July USCIS Fiasco I cannot overlook it....

The scenario is good luck or bad luck which ever you look at it, my Green Card gets approved by USCIS but I cannot file spouse I-485 because my PD is not current in near by future ( nor within 180 Days)

EB2-India, PD Aug 05, RD Sep 05 (VSC)

ask your wife to get onto H1B status or some other independent status....

- H4 status gets automatically revoked....and 180 days illegal stay protection under 245(k) expires...before these things...one can get her onto some other non-immigrant status....etc..

This scenario is best explained by a lawyer....I believe...lot of theories floating on in this forum....
