The SOP mandates two security checks, CIA check and Name check and the fingerprinting to be completed before adjudication. However adjudication needs to wait for only 60 days, after USCIS sends the request for these checks, for any response from CIA and FBI, and then continue with processing. (Unless some thing has changed since SOP issued.)
