All,

I got RFE from Texas service center asking previous company a copy of I129 petion

I contacted my company they are unable to find the I129 petition because of 5 years old ,If we can submit the company letter saying we loss the I129 petion .

This would resolve the Query or INS will denied the Application

I don't think they will deny for AOS. In worst case, the whole processing will be delayed. I find it very strange that NONE (you, your lawyer and your ex-company) has a single photocopy of that approval notice.

For future, always keep a copy of any immigration related document with you. Whenever an event happens (any approval, notice or anything else), immediately ask for a copy for your reference from lawyer or company.
