Hi Folks,
Received an RFE for employment letter recently it reads something like " letter from your employer describing your present job duties & position, date you began employment and the offered salary or wage".

I am working with the same employer who filed the GC but currently drawing a salary lower than the salary mentioned in LCA..although I know GC is for a future job....
As a response for RFE, my lawyer wants to mention "Upon Grant of permanant residence status he will be paid X" where X = amount mentioned in LCA. Is this OK?

Secondly, I began the employment upon receipt of H1-B notice. Should that be the date mentioned in this RFE for start date or the date of the actual transfer of H-1 mentioned in the approval document.

Thanks in advance

You can always specify the start date of your actual employment and specify the date of recept for reference.
