I-485 Rfe

Hi guys,

Just got RFE letter (yellow color) in mail. Im really wondering about their request. I've sent medical in but they are saying something about vaccination supplement? I thought my doctor checked everything on the form already. Copy that I have in unreadable. Is there any extra form or I should just send copies of vaccinations my Dr. gave me almost two years ago.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Two years ago? I think I-693 is only valid for one year. Maybe that's why you got an RFE. Maybe it's also because the photocopy was bad. Did you send both the I-693 and the supplemental vaccination form?

I would Go to he Doctor that did the first Medical and ask if he can provide you with a legible copy of the medical , if it was done over a year ago you need to have it done again, the directions on the I-693 are clear about this!

I didn't explain myself properly the first time. I did my medical in March 2006 and I've sent it in with the application. Now they are directing me to do the same thing again??? When I mention my doctors report, I was reffering to vaccination report my Croatian doctor gave me before I came to the USA. That was just the vaccination record. Civil surgen approved it as up-to-date. I only needed one HEP B shot because I already did two shots before the immigration medical. With RFE, they are saying they need properly completed Supplemetal Form to I-693. My doctor never told me about that and it didn't come with I-693 if I remember correctly.

This is what I just found on USCIS' website:
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have sent the I-693 vaccination supplement directly to the civil surgeons for them to photocopy, fill out on behalf of each applicant, and attach to Form I-693 for submission to USCIS.

If I'm not mistaked this means that either my doctor made a mistake or they haven't checked the file?
Any ideas???
I am so upset about all this. We've spent six months studying these applications and yet again, somebody made a mistake.

They lose alot of papers, so they might have lost it. Just photocopy the copy they gave you and send it in with the RFE. Also call the 1800 number or schedule infopass and let them know and they will guide you. I had to do same but they have received my RFE and they sent me I-765 Approved 3 weeks later then an interview letter. I-485

good luck

In the sealed envelope the doctor handed over to you there should have been two letters. One is the I-693..which you downloaded from the web..the other is a Supplemental vaccination form which states that you have had the required vaccinations.
Ask the doctor to give you both and resubmit.Check the attachment for the supplemental form.

Any other ideas? If my doctor made a mistake, what should I do?

Tell him to provide that form asap and at no charge.
And send it asap.
That's all you can do.

Does it have to be sealed as I-693? Thanks

Well, it usually goes with the I-693 in a sealed envelope, so I wouldn't take any chance and have your doctor put it in a sealed envelope. And then you send it to USCIS.

So they already opened envelope? For some reason I thought they won't open it before the interview?

Well....and then how could they know that your vaccination paper wasn't in there?

I am not sure about that but I know I've seen it somewhere. That's why I am upset. It took them 2 months to send this f..... RFE and they requested stuff we already sent (I am not sure about this vaccination supplement though, if doctor put it in there or no).
