Hey guys-- new to this site (just found it yesterday), and totally loving the support of the community.

I also just discovered the online tracking at the USCIS website, and I saw the following:

Current Status: On June 15, 2005, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case. The notice explains in detail what additional material is needed ...

Is there anything to worry about, besides the I-693, which I didn't submit with the I-485?

THANKS FOR ANY HELP!!!

Here are my stats:

VSC concurrent RD 4/29/05, ND 5/4/05:
I-140 (EB-1-a, extraordinary ability), I-140 (EB-1-b, NIW), I-485
FP 5/21/05
I-140 (EB-1-a, extraordinary ability) AD 6/9/05
I-140 (EB-1-b, NIW) AD 6/9/05
I-485 RFE (maybe for unsubmitted I-693) 6/15/05
(still waiting for actual notice of what exactly they need)

Don't be worried, be excited that someone at USCIS actually is looking at your application. The evidence may just be the I-693 and some other basic stuff that you can easily provide. Being EB-1, though, they may request evidence that you are truly extraordinary, so be prepared for proving that case.

another proof of extraordinary ability?

Hi Bjorn-- thanks for the reply. I thought the approval of the I-140 (EB-1-a extraordinary ability) is proof enough that I'm indeed "extraordinarily" able. I didn't realize that the I-485 folks will need another round of proof. Anyone else with ideas on how these things go?

I'll update this thread as soon as I actually receive the notice.

Indeed you are right. So what they are looking for is probably related to your personal information such as medical, immunization, and other stuff like that. Should not be a problem at all to provide. Did you file both the I-140 and I-485 on 4/29/05 (as per your initial message)? If so, that's incredibly fast processing so far.

Yes

I did file all those (2 I-140s and an I-485) concurrently. Indeed, processing has been extraordinarily fast; even my lawyer is blown away.
