Is anyone in the same situation, please post the results and let me know if any help can get......
 
There are still some people like me whose name check is completed long time back and still waiting for the approval. here are my case details...

Is the FP clearance and Name check clerance same or different.
what is the number to call and what information is supposed to be supplied to find out whether once case is stuck in NAME CHECK
 
When we leave message for Name check, do we need to leave our phone number or do they identify from the number we called from.....
 
Approved on April 21

Guy's Its big day for me today. Finally got approved on April 21 and I received an email from USCIS (which is a new application that is provided for us). Its a great design and its working good. Hope you guys will also reg. and wait for good news.

FBI Name Check Number: (202) 324-2399

You have to specify your name, Date of birth, A# and a phone number. They will call you/leave a voice mail on that number.

I just did it yesterday to know if my case is "Adjudication Ready" (FP and name check cleared).

However, I do not know at what point in the process USCIS requests FBI for name check. Is it on receipt of I-485 or at some other point? How do I know that a name check has been requested for my case?

Someone above said name check and FP is different? should we get both information (name check and FP) all from the same number of FBI? Should I ask FBI if both my name check and FP are cleared?

What requires one to do a second, third FP? I done my FP in Jan 2003 and my I485 Receipt date is Nov 2002. My lawyer told me FBI told her that FBI had sent the result to INS in Jan 2003 about my FP. If I am required to do a second FP, does it mean FBI has to do the name check or FP check again?

It's so confusing.....
