I-485 receipt

Does anyone have idea when will we get receipts for concurrent I-485s filed in July. With 3+ years retrogression for India, i wish it won't take 3yrs for USCIS to start giving out receipts for I-485s.
 
As you can see from trackitt, people are receiving receipts from USCIS for I-485 received at the end of June and, for a few of them, in early July...
So, I guess we have to be patient ;)

Just in case.. you need the receipt for EAD or some thing like that for further transactions with USCIS, you can use your shipping (FedEX,...) receipt number too.
 
I-485 receipt notice received!

A short note to let you know that I received the Receipt Notice for the I-485. See the signature below. Was sent to NSC and the Notices are from NSC too (though the I-140 was at TSC through e-filing).

Good to know that you got I-485 receipts Chris. I was wondering why your I-485 was sent to NSC though I-140 was sent to TSC. Does your residence state come under NSC domain?
 
Well, I could have sent it at either place, as per the USCIS FAQs. Indeed my State (HI) is related to NSC, and the officer I talked to (to check) told me to send it at NSC.
