How long does it takes to get 485 receipt numbers. My lawyers told me that he has sent the papers in feb but I havent received anything from INS yet. How long does it normally takes to get receipt numbers?
Both me and my wife got a INS receipt within a month or so. Better check with your lawyer. Did you make the payment or did your company make it ? Trace the bank statement to see if the payment has been cleared. That should give you some update. (My check was cleared within 3 weeks of filing)
