I-485 receipt notice

Dear friends,

Some of us are really conserned about the receipt notices of I -485, since all of us have to file I-485 at NSC.... Would any of those guys who have recently (2-3 months back) filed at NSC and received recipts? Pls post your message here... Thanks

You probably saw my other post but just in case; I finally got my receipt in the mail last Tuesday. Now, even though the note date says 9/7 it still shows the receipt date as 8/17, the date the post office delivred it to them.

That is good to hear. They take about a month's time. May be they will catchup!!

It may not be relevant but my spouse has filed I-140 petition which reached NSC on Aug 30. We have not received the notice yet. the check has been cleared on Sept 1 and we got the receipt# from the back of the check. We also called USCIS. They confirmed the receipt# saying ND is Aug 31. They asked us to call back after 30 days if we still do not get it....
