I-485 Questions

My I-485 jut got filled on 3rd January 2007. I have two questions
a) Whats the average processing time before Teh GC card becomes available ? My I-140 was filled month back at same center
b) In saw at various places in this forum terms like LUD and AD with various dates. What does it mean ?

Sorry for asking such questions but some i will really appreaciate answers to above questions...
 
I-485 got LUD but nothing yet?

My online status says the current LUD is 1/1/2007. I had filed I-485 on Dec 04, 2006. I have not yet receive FP notice. I filed to NSC. Any body has any Idea?
I appreciate for help.
