I 485 Question

Is there a provision in the INS whereby if more than 120 days have passed since the FP was done, you can send a fax inquiry? Any help would be appreciated.

My wife got her FP done in Dec 2001, while I got mine done in March 2002. I have been hearing the same sickening "Processing has resumed....blah blah..." message for months now.

my lawyer tried that...

but the INS sent back a fax reply asking not to send inquiries until the ND is 1 month beyond the JIT date

I would wait...until

ND is 1 month beyond the JIT date....There is no point in sending fax enquires before this date....
