Hi, I am on a H1 B and my labor got approved recently. I am trying to apply I-485 soon with Concurrent filing and I am waiting for some paperwork to be submitted from my company to the Lawyer. Meanwhile my wife is planning to go to visit India in April.
I was told that My Wife and myself should physically be present in USA while my application reaches from my company to INS/ BCIS. Is that true or Can the application process still be submitted by me or the company to INS/BCIS without my wife being here?
