Hi,
I had filed my Green card application on a NIW waiver at the Texas service center. I did not file my I 140 and I 485 concurrently.
My I 140 was filed:
RD 7/23/2001 and
ND 3/25/2002
My I 485 was filed:
RD 4/23/2002 and
ND 4/26/2002
I got married in April 2003 and have added my wife in the Green card process, who joined me in the US, therafter.
My FP was done in May 2003 which was cleared by the FBI in due process. I have since not heard from the BCIS.
I wanted to know how long would my GC take. Would it have been faster if I had filed my I 140 and I 485 concurrently? For calculating the processing time required should I take the date I filed my I 140 or the date of my I 485. My lawyer says my GC should be there any moment. But the processing time as per TSC shows cases being processed as of May 2001. I am terribly confused.
My wife has got her EAD but there is no news about her FP. Would she get her GC along with mine or will it take the usual processing time. Has the process been delayed because of my marriage?
