I-485 processing question

How about if a person who was out of status on F1 for 2 years got re-instated. Would this affect his I-485 processing, or is he ok?

I\'m in this situation. I\'ve got H1 and have entered into US many times
and am always in-status after I got my F1 re-instated.

I think it depends on your priority date.
So far I know, you have to send proff to INS that you were in status. If you cannot, depending on your priority date you may be able to pay $1000 fine and fix this problem. I dont know if you dont fall in this category what is the consequence. Best thing to do is, talk to your lawyer.
