Hi

I have been reading about the retrogression of priority dates to Jan 1 2002, effective beginning of this year.

Here is the case

Labor was filed in October 2001 in NJ under EB3 category and the approval for Labor obtained in Oct 2003; I 140 was filed in Nov 2003 and it was approved in Aug 2004. I 485 was filed in Aug 2004 and awaiting approval.

The current processing dates for I 485 is Jun 19 2003.

Will my case be picked up for I 485 processing based on the Labor date or on the basis of I 485 application date?

I am sure many of you may have questions on how the processing is going to happen, but if someone has any clue, answers would be appreciated.

Can you please tell me where did you get that date from? I thought it was Dec 2002 for employment based cases. Thanks
