I-485 processing date - Feb 2004 in Vermont????

Gurus, I was looking at the processing dates at the District Office, Saint Albans VT and it shows I-485 processing date of Feb 2004. What is this???

If the file(Case) transfered to local office(If you are living in Saint Albans, Vt) from USCIS, Vermont Center in Feb 2004, then expect the interview or GC.

If your case is not transfered to local office forget this processing date.

The district 485 processing dates are different from the service center processing dates. What u see are district processing dates. If you haven't received any letter from USCIS indicating that your case is transferred to Vermont, then you should use the service center processing dates.

Genarally, they show processing date ahead than they are processing (At least this is true for I-140). Why they are showing Sep.21,2002 for I-485 as processing date when actully they are processing Feb. 2003 (All the recent approvals are coming of that range)???

Any idea???

Most Feb 2003 approvals are concurrent filers and may be adjudicated based on the Fujie Ohata memo. Also CSC and NSC was implementing the backlog reduction pilot programs. Maybe VSC was conducting a silent pilot and those Feb cases were approved based on that.

Processing date at NSC Feb1st 2002
