I-485 processing based on RD or FP?

This is my first message in this forum.

Presently what is the basis of approval of I-485?
We had a idea that it was on the basis of RD, but now this is not true. Is this really on the basis of FP?

Anybody has any idea?

Looking some recent posting it seems fp expiration might play a role...but generally it is RD
