I-485 Processing Any Predictions ???

I have been following this board for more than a year. I have seen lot of intelligent people making predictions and to my utter surprise most of them came true(6-7 months earlier). There used to be a modelling guy whom I believe got his 485 and there were couple others who were pretty solid in their suggestions and predictions.

Is there anyone who could guess or provide a model what\'s gonna happen with VSC approvals. They are doing Sep ND cases right now. I am just wondering how long this would take and when would they start Oct ND cases.

EB-2 India PD current, RD Sep 20 99, ND Oct 1 99.

Here is my prediction for the progression of events at VSC.
This will be tested in the coming months.
I hope Chutney\'s optimism proves this wrong in a way that benefits us all.

Apr 01 - Aug 99, Sep 99, Oct 99 , RFE Nov , FP DEC 99 /JAN 00
May 01 - Aug 99, Sep 99, Oct 99 , Nov 99 , RFE DEC 99 , RFE JAN 00
Jun 01 - Aug 99, Sep 99, Oct 99 , Nov 99, Dec 99 and maybe Jan 00 cases

Note: Approvals for Aug 99 to Dec 99 will keep popping up every month
      as the PD keeps moving forward until it becomes current.

I think once INS moves to October RDs, we would see a faster progress, since there weren\'t as many cases filed after sept (priority dates becoming current in Aug, hence the flood in Aug/sept).
Atleast lets hope so.

My guess and hope is that by Mar \'01 we will see Oct \'99 approvals; starting end of March \'01/early Apr \'01, we would see some rapid approvals and would see even some May \'00 & later approvals by the end of June \'01.

A silly question: what affects the I-485 processing time (country of origin/EB-1-2-3/nothing)?
Mine is EB1, RD: 03/01/00, ND: 03/07/00, country: Russia.... -- any predictions? Thanks for

Here are my data RD 6/16/00, FP 10/30/00, EB1 at VSC.

Finger printing date is not a data point for consideration at all. Only thing that is considered is your ND, provided the priority date is current.

Thanks alot everyone for the posting. I hope "VSCRD1199" predictions comes alive. Eventhough I have RD - Sep99 and
ND - Oct99 , I haven\'t received the FP notice yet. We will see what happens in this month.

So far the prediction seems to be in line with what VSC is doing. I think VSC looks to be doing better than what is predicted.

I would say the prediction is NOT working completely. We have just (today 2/201) started seeing FP notices recieved.

Remember, there is a lag of about 2-3 weeks when VSC acts and when we actually see the action.
