Hi

I filed I-485 at VSC with priority date Oct 15, 2004.

As on USCIS site updated on Sep 20 ,2005
VSC now proccesing Sep 23, 2004 (for I-485)

As on USCIS site last updated on Oct 5 ,2005 , VSC now proceesing December 1st 2004

As per Visa bulletin there was 'Unchanged' for Sep 2005 for EB3 and
in Oct 2005 visa bulletin the date was 01-JAN-98 for EB3

So the visa numbers are not available in Sep and Oct 2005 how the processing date move forward? And it passed my priority date, but I have not heard any thing from USCIS yet.

Can any one focus on this issue?

Thank you

Once priority date comes in effect, that is if not current, then needs to look into two conditions. First if you applied before the Processing time and your Priority date is below the visa bulletin date.

I think they dont do i-485 based on category(eb1, eb2 etc).

and i think indians and chinese wont get I-485 approvals since there are not visa for these countries.

that means USCIS will continue processing those categories/countries with visa available.

sorry buddy, looks like you will have to wait till visa numbers become available for our country.

PD feb 2001

My PD is feb 2001. have EAD and AP. According to the current statistics, how long is the wait - 4-5 years, ?

And I heard they have a severe back log of 345,000 of 245(i)'s - Judging by that - looks like its gonna take more than 4-5 yrs.

Any guesses ?

I sent email/fax to the senators. They already put 90k visas for nurses category. Wouldnt they have already allocated H1b more numbers if they wanted to ? I guess tech job aint worth much to them anymore.

This sucks !
