I-485 Portability question

I Was laidoff after 1800days on Aug end .
So i decided to use AC-21 Rule and i found a new Job.
Which starts from OCT 1st. I was near approval (OCT2001 case)

So My qustions are ...

1)How many Paychecks ,INS asks in case of RFE ?
2) Should they be continous ..?
3) I will be out of Paycheck for the month of SEP .
This gap in between paycheks will create problems ???

It depends on whether or not you get a RFE. if you do, then they ask for recent Paystubs, W2, Employment letter. Better to take your Lawyer with you at that point of time. Personally, I have'nt head anyone having being denied because of non-continuity of employment.
