I-485, please help

Friends:

I filed for my I-485 in Texas Service Center through my employer and my receipt date is Aug 10, 2001. However, I still have not received my fingerprint dates, talkless of the approval.


Although the processing dates for TXC is 11/1/2000, do I have to worry about the fingerprinting request not coming yet as it has been over 20 months. I should have atl east received teh fingerprint request.

I am scared if I don't receive the fingerprint dates, my file will not progress.

Please provide me any feedback or advice if I should do anything or it should be fine.

I am not processing my case through Texas, although you might want to call the national toll free line and request a status check. I am filing through Chicago and was told by an operator at the toll free line that after 17 months they would do a status check. Might want to try that. Hope this helps and all the best!
