I am expecting my approval soon for RD. Sept.24. But I just found that the photo I submitted was with my glasses. Will this cause a RFE? Also, Why someone needs to bring photo for passport stamping after approval? Thanks for your advice.

what you submitted was for the application itself and for EAD and AP. When you go for stamping you will need a seperate set of photo's. This is what they use for the actual green card they issue.

photos with glasses are not acceptable as per rules

Have you already recvd EAD and AP ? Did you get any RFE for that ? As per rules photos with glasses not allowed. Yo may get RFE.

I heard in this forum sb got approved with glasses

As long as your eyes do not have light reflection, you'll be ok. Am I right?

anyone who has glasses on the photo got approved???

pleaseeeeeeeeeee share your info.

Thanks for your response. I have not applied for EAD and AP, so no RFE yet. Is there anyone got RFE for photo with glasses?
I have to prepare another set of photo for stamping, right?

I got my EAD with a photo in glasses last Dec 2001. When filling the 485, I provided the photos with glasses, and my lawyer did not oppose it.

Hi everyone with glasses

I am an August filer with Rd 08/15, Nd 10/11 and FP 12/27.

I wore glasses all the time. I did not contact my attorney regd this at the time of filing I-485. When taking the ADIT pictures that time, I was asked about my glasses whether I wear them all the time. My answer was "yes" which resulted, glasses in my pictures.

I did not apply EAD and AP. But I enclosed 4 pictures of mine and 6 pictures of my wife. Applied EAD for my wife. She got it in November 01.

After 90 days of filing I-485, I went to local INS to get my EAD and there also I was asked by Officer whether I wear glasses all the time. Again my answer was "yes". Hence my interim EAD is also with glasses which is expiring in this Nov 02.

So all my pictures which are with INS till today are with glasses including the picture in the passport.

I am very happy to say that, I and my wife were approved on Aug 26th 2002 without any problem, though they have my glasses pictures.

Let me see how it goes with stamping. I will post my experience. Till then please wait.

Good luck to everyone.
