Hello,
This is my first time visitor of ImmigrationPortal.com. And the reason is same as of almost everyone in this forum.
I filed I-485 with I-140 Concurrently under EB2 category on 9/13/2006, My I-140 approved on 2/26/2007 however my I-485 is pending since 9/13/2006.
Here is what I did so far for getting what's going on in I-485 at Texas Service Center.
1) I called NSC numerous times and initiated query. I always received same letter that my case is pending for Background Security Clearance.
2) I contacted Ombudsman 2 times, No response ever.
3) I took InfoPass several times and folks told me, that they don't understand why my case is not adjudicated. They told me that FBI has given clearance and your name check is cleared long time ago.
4) I contacted local senator and his staff contact TSC and they told him that my case is waiting for security clearance from ABROAD.
I know that I can file WoM, however lawyers are very expensive in North Carolina, Washington DC and in Texas. And I have no prior experience of even visiting Civil Courts.
Now I have no idea what to do next. Is there anyone out there to help me in letting me know what to do. Should I wait indefinitely?
Thanks.
Syed
