Hi guys,
I have got to new problem, I have been outside of the US for more than three times while I have had the I-485 pending with CIS. Does that effect my case in CIS, like for example they send my case for more security check and those kind of stuff, I have notice that couple of my friends which had trips to outside of US have not received their green card yet and It already past 1 year after the date they suppose to get it, and CIS just keep saying that "We are still looking at your case" so I was just wondering,

Thanks,

Regards,

It will depend where you went and where are you from.
What is the ND of your friends when you say they suppose to get it a year ago.
Please be specific if you want to get a specific answer.

the question was in general,
He was a refugee ND is sep. 2003 and now thay are processing April 2004, and he also has I-730 pending.
He called CIS and asked them what wrong, and they said they are looking to his case, but it has been a while.
Thanks for the respond.

There is nothing wrong when asylee travel while his or her I 485 is pending. As long as he or she dont break the rules. While I485 is pending you still considered an asylee and pending case don't mean anything.
