I-485 pending, can wife file another?

Both my wife and I are on H1-B. I recently filed my I-485 under EB-2 with my wife as co-applicant and is still pending.

My wife's backlog is now current, can she file her I-485 with me as a co-applicant. Her filing will be under EB-3.

I just want to make sure that this will not affect my original I-485 filing, and our hope is that whoever's filing is approved first will be great.
