I-485 Pending and moving

I am planning to moved from NE to IL and my case is pending (i-485) so can and I need advice, does it make any difference if I move to IL or what will be the processing time? does affect the processing time? Does it impact my processing period?

I have heard mixed comments on this. Some say it will affect and some say it does not. How long are you in 485? Are you current or will be current in couple of months.

I moved from NJ to CA on the month I became current. So I just kept my old apartment for couple of more months just in case and my case got approved in two weeks after I moved. After which I filed the change of address once I got the GC in the mail in the old apartment.

If you are really far away then just file the change of address and move.
