I-485 pending and laid off, pl help???

Hi,

Filed I-485 last year on october, after a long time got EAD's for my wife and me and did Fp also. Next month I'm getting laid off. My wife is also trying for job. What is my status if i don't get GC before that? Can we use the EAD? Will it be valid? Do i have prepare anything if I get RFE after that?

yeh u both are under AOS pending and are legal to work on EAD. so find a similar job with same salary and avail AC21 befits for your GC.
 
New ruling (AC21) states that after 180 days of submitting 485, you can change jobs (in same field of employment) without harming GC processing. So find a new job on EAD. Good luck.
