Got a question on my job:
My firm is a multinational firm and have offices in Japan.I have my EAD and AP and I-485 receipt was received on May 15 2003.
Now my company wants me to work in Japan for 2 years, having the same job title as I have here. I will be able to come to US couple of times a year.

Will this affect my GC processing?

No it will not. But consult your company lawyer as too what procedure you need to follow. There are various issues you need to check.

[1] Who will generate your paystub?
[2] Would you be based in Japan, but working for the US company ? In other words, are you working as a business transfer? These are issues you need to be aware of.

Check with an attroney.
