i-485 paystubs

gc_menia is right about need of paystubs when filing I485. My attorney didn't ask paystubs for me or for my wife. When an employer files for a GC for future employment, why would INS expect paystub from the very same employer ? But if your attorney insists so, then go for it !

I heard from one of my friend saying that 'spouses employer gets a letter from INS asking to verify the status of the spouse who is on H1 visa, and at that time they ask to submit latest paystubs'

please correct if i am wrong
