Hello,
We're having trouble deciding how to answer the question "Have you ever been arrested, cited, charged, indicted, convicted, fined, or imprisoned for breaking or violating any law?"
My husband, who is now applying for his green card, was arrested 6 years ago for a fight that wasn't his fault. The case went to court, where all charges against him were waived.
I'm guessing he should answer "yes" to this question, since he was arrested. We'll include all his court documents when we file. Is this correct?
Thanks!

Hi,
You are perfectly right!! Even though your husband has been acquitted of all the false charges, its always best to be honest. It is good to reveal all the information before the Immigration officer finds it on their own. If at all the Immigration officers raise any questions about it,your supporting documents will suffice. You are a good Citizen!!
