i-485, part 2 - application type

I am a us citizen. I married a uk citizen in vegas a couple of weeks ago. She came here on visa waiver program and her status does not expire till nov 5, 2010. Which option should I choose in part 2 (application type) of form i-485? The "h" option and explain the situation in detail on a separate piece of paper?

I think the instructions indicate that a bit further on.

Thanks for the quick response. I have not filed any forms yet. I will be filing i-130 and i-485 together. Since I have not filed i-130 yet and there is no immigrant petition to give her an immediately available visa number, do you still think I sjould choose "a"?

yes I do. Filing them together makes "a" the appropriate category

(a) is the correct answer for your situation. For some strange reason, they haven't changed the wording to reflect that concurrent filing is allowed.
