I am on H1B,applying for GC thru USC spouse.My wife was on GC first and then she got the USC thru naturalisation.
Wat should be my Application Type on the I - 485?

Part 2. Application type.(check one)
I am applying for an adjustment to permanent resident status because:
I believe it should be

b. my spouse or parent applied for adjustment of status or was granted lawful permanent residence
in an immigrant visa category that allows derivative status for spouses and children.

Can some1 please confirm?

Part 2, Check "a". Your wife is a USC (whether through birth ot naturalization) doesn't matter. She files I-130 , which gives you immediaate priority date.

I need One more confirmation.
On the I 765, Question 16,

16. Go to Part 2 of the Instructions, Eligibility Categories. In the space below, place
the letter and number of the category you selected from the instructions (For
example, (a)(8), (c)(17)(iii), etc.).
Divorced Widowed

I believe it should be :(a)(9)

(a)(9) - K-3 Nonimmigrant Spouse of U.S. Citizen or K-4 Dependent.

Can some1 please confirm this?

Your category is (c) (9) Adjustment Applicant, you're applying for adjustment of status based on marriage to a US citizen.
