Is there a reason why the I-485 is not listed on the processing dates for the NBC (Missouri)? Does anyone know which dates they are currently processing?
I-485 is processed by local district offices or 4 service centers of INS. NBC do not process I-485 primarly because family based I-485 needs interview and service centers including NBC are not walk-in offices and they transfer such cases to local district offices. They process I-130 et. al all family based petitions. Thats why you dont see it there.
smart guy...you know the lowdown...does that mean i should track my i-485 by the date at my local district office? if one moves locales does the petition ,move too? if so, methins its worth moving from NYC to NJ to speed this thing up...
