I-485 moved to Aug 2001 in JIT 8/2

Since i am not very much experienced about the recent I-485 processing times of CSC, i am asking this..
is moving a month for month (since for the last 2 periods = 30 days its was at July) considered very fast for 485 applications in CSC ?
just curious..??
 
one month to one month is aready very good. try to see how many month it sat on April 01 :-)

INS has trained us with moderate expectation ....
 
Some how I get the feeling the there is relief when CSC just releases the report; indicates that they are working. movement in the dates is an added bonus.

I'm curious, are there anybody who has July 2001 or early dates and still has no approval for I-485?
 
Processing WINDOW

Looking at current processing pattern, INS approves application in

Process Window = JIT + 4 months

So if you application is coming in the window, you may get approved any time.

If your ND < JIT , then one can panic.
 
moving from aug 01 -->sep 01 might take some time

let us all keep our expectations more calculated....
with the massive number of cases filed during august and september, i would think that it might take a long time for the next JIT progress....


i would be more than happy if my hypothesis proves wrong...( my case is a december 2001 case.)

KMN, you might be right.

But then you've also got to give leeway to the fact that INS's policy is usually JIT+4 months, and August minus 4 months is April, and very rightly so the JIT was stuck in April forever, probably because of the TOOO MANNYYY August September cases.

Also, If you noticed on PCee's list, it took forever for all Aug + Sep cases to clear. My guess is the last few Aug + Sep people are left now, and JIT will move fast.

If it doesn't, then I am gonna hafta spank ya.
 
april by itself was a hevy month

actually EB2 became current during april, and all the cases (atleast most of the cases) with ND = april , may and june actually belonged to april.

and the same with july, EB3 became current, so there was a another hop in july august and september......with eb3 cases,,and this set it heavier than eb2 for obvious reasons
