I-485 Issues

Hi,

We, myself and my wife (dependent), have applied for I-485 in the month of Dec '01 and we got EAD, AP and FP done in Feb '02.

I want to clarify couple of things here.

1. Can she go ahead and change her address on her own, without me submitting the change of address request.
2. Can she go for the PP stamping, without my presence, to INS, after the approval.

Should be able to.

Only thing that I can think of is if you guys get an interview (local transfer). In the interview, sometimes they do want to make sure that you guys are living together (one of the thing to make sure you are really married to the person).

However, a couple can still be married and living in different locations.. so should be ok too. You can do your own analysis.
