Hello There,

This is my case.

I am working in a branch of a firm located in NJ. My main branch is in TX. My labor certification and all I-140 and I-485 petitions were filed thru our TX branch.
Now I got the I-140 approval and got the finger print notice. My lawyer said as my labor certification done thru our TX branch, I should relocate to TX. My employer wants me to continue my current work in NJ. Is my 485 petition will be denied If I not moved to TX.

Please share your experience.

Thanks

future employment

Dear United Nations and other gurus,

If my employer agrees to relocate me to our main branch in TX, when should I ask them to relocate me? Is any time bound for it? I am still in my H1 Status sponsored by the same company with the branch in NJ and also going for a 7th year extension. As long as I am working with the same company in different location, my employer points me that they should transfer me to TX once I get a GC. But my lawyer have a different opinion. Please share your experience.

Thank you in advance!
