WOW Its been a long journey for me! I am 20 years old & have been in the US since i was 9 years old. My mother got her greencard when i was 9 and never gave me mine. But she became a united states citizen a year ago & she finally applied for my greencard. Well yesterday was my interview and it took only at most 10 minutes. We arrived their about 7:30am we went through security check like you would at a airport! I was so nervous, but my immigration officer was a nice lady. She asked me question from the I-485 and then asked for my mothers citizenship and asked for my passport and my I-94. She then took my I-94 and said "You wont need this anymore" then said okay your alll done, your case is approvable you should recieve your card in the mail in 2-4 weeks!! A few hours later i recieved a case update which said CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED!!!! I cant explain how happy I am to finally be able to drive and go to college like my friends!!! THANK GOD
