I have the interview next week. As an employment based applicant, is it safe to get the Affidavit of Support (Form I-864) form notorized and take it to the interview?

Is the form I-864 even applicable to such cases?
Is this form a legal document for supporting a spouse's I-485 which is tied to the primary applicant?

I don't believe that I-864 applies at all to employment-based I-485's. Neither to the primary applicant, nor to the derivative(s). Why do you ask?

The document that would have been filed to show that you can financially support the sponsored dependants is I-134. I doubt if you need any other form now. If you have not been asked, why not carry documents like bank statement, legal documents showing ownership of property, equity etc., They might help, just in case.
