Hello everyone,

Our initial interview is coming up on Nov 17th, 2008. I'm the petitioner for my husband and we have been married for around 7.5 months now.

For those of you who have gone through the initial interview, could you please share your experiences/tips with me? What kind of questions will they be asking?

Just come prepared with everything you've got to prove your marriage is real, no matter how insignificant.

Interviews are different for everyone, it depends on the IO and the particular case. The standard questions include where you met, how long you dated before getting married, etc. There are many threads in this subforum where people describe their experiences.

The bottom line appears to be that if your marriage is real and you have evidence of the same, you should have nothing to worry about. Just answer all questions truthfully.
