I-485.......Info needed....Plz Help

Hi All

Labor subs/EB3/ VSC
I-140 approved on 22 jan 2004

I (my attorney) has filed my I-485/EAD/AP.

Mailing date: 23 Feb 2004
Checks encashed: 1 march 2004

still didn't receive the receipts (got the receipt numbers from behind the encashed check)

Notice Date : 27 Feb 2004 (according to checks encashed)

Question:

What do INS look at when they accept the documents , fees and issue a receipt?

what kind of processing is done at this stage?

do they check like if one is in status etc etc?

plz advice.

Don't worry it will arrive.

it may take 4-6 weekks .... count ur days....

good thing is ur check has been cashed....

so you got the proof..

relax.... don't panic
