I-485 Hurdle Pass!

Folks,
2 days after getting my I-140 approved, I-485 was approved also!

Glad all this is sort of over. Good luck guys!

I140 : RD = Sep 30, 2003 # AD = Nov 2, 2004
I485 : RD = Nov 11, 2003 # AD = Nov 5, 2004

Anyone know why some people got concurent processing for 140 & 485 and some other not even though they submit both at the same time>?
 
1) If your I-140 is approved in 2003, your I-485 comes under backlog and follow USCIS I-485 processing dates.

2) If your I-140 and I-485 are filed after June,2003 and I-140 is not approved yet, follow I-140 processing dates and it is possible that both will be approved concurrently due to pilot program.

Your theory sounds right BUT....
what if your I-140/I-485 are concurrently filed in Aug 2003 and your I-140 is approved in March 2004? What timings do I follow then?
