I am an approved asylee since 2002. I filed for 485 in Feb of 2006, according to the case status date, my application should have been processed in April of 2007. I did not hear anything from Immigration, so I called and sent an e-mail. I was told to check back with them in six months. I called after the elapse of six months, and was told that I should hear from the immigration soon and I was also told to book an appointent to see an Immigration Officer. I went to see the immigration officer and my question was what my current status was, and what it means and what the Immigration needs from me? The Officer said she does not know and that I should speak to Immigration at Nebraska. Does anyone know what I should do next? Please help!
