SRC 00-245

Approved on Nov 7th. We left the country for vacation on Nov 6th. Came back on Dec 1st. Got Passport Stamped on Dec 4th at Miami, FL. At First filed thru regular process. Nothing happened for 2 years. Then, I moved on to RIR process.

Experience at Miami INS :
=======================
Went to Miami for passport stamp at 7.40 am. There was a very big queue.
Went directly to the security upfront. Showed our approval letters,
got token and went inside to RM 100 immediately. Waited until call our numbers and it took around 45 minutes. Next 10 minutes got passport stamped and retuned home.

Hope this helps. If you have any specific question, please send me an
email to smuralidaran@yahoo.com I am very much happy to share my experience.

Congrats. I think your ND or SRC Number Is Incorrect

If your ND is Oct 14th, 2000 then SRC # should be around 01-011-xxxxx, but not SRC-00-245. SRC-00-245-xxxxx means it should be around Aug 18th, 2000. Please correct the details. Thanks.

What is the Relation between SRC 01-011 & Oct 14th, 2000

How do you come up with the relation???. Is it not the YY-JJJ-xxxxx
YY-Year, JJJ- Julian Date and XXXXX- The Number.

If His ND is correct then His SRC number is also correct...

For most applications filed at a Service Center, your receipt may look like this: LIN 99 001 50001. In this example, the LIN represents the Nebraska Service Center, where the application was initially received into the electronic system. Cases that are filed at or received by another Service Center but processed at the NSC will generally carry the designation of the originating Service Center:

LIN = Lincoln, Nebraska or NSC
EAC = St. Albans, Vermont or VSC
SRC= Dallas, Texas or TSC
WAC= Laguna Niguel, California or CSC

In the example above:

The 99 represents the fiscal year (October 1, through September 30) in which the case was received.
The 001 represents the computer workday in the fiscal year on which the fee was taken.
The 50001 represents the particular case number.
For cases with particular case numbers starting with a 5, electronic case status information is available (see Finding the Status of Your Case, below). For cases with particular case numbers starting with a 0, you must write to request the status of your case.

Dont not count saturday and sundays. also add 1 day to the no of calender days excluding saturdays and sundays for that fiscal year (2001).

Thanks.

Oct 14th will be 11th working day.

Oct 14th will be 11th working day (exclude saturdays and sundays). INS Fiscal year starts from 1st working day of Oct. So its SRC # will be 01-011-5xxxx. Thanks.
