I-485 Freeze

I heard through a friend that one of the reasons why there's a freeze on I-485 is to reduce the number of Indians and Pakistanis employment based GC. And that one of the reasons why there is so much backlogged is because of the Indians and Pakistanis citizen filing for GC and that, the process is not fair to other citizens not from India or Pakistan. The guy also told me that INS would slow down on all applications filed from citizens of India and Pakistans and concentrate on other countries to approve them before scrutinizing the I-485 filed by Indian and Pakistanis citizens. Guys anyone hear something like this?
 
I don't think it is just in the case of Indians & Pak's.. The freeze is for all I-485 applications.. I think they are working on the FBI approval process or something..
In the mean while they are stopping the I-485 approvals..

BTW Jadi what source did you or your friend hear your info from. I dont think it is very credible since there is no news in any of the Immigration sites about this news.

If this was the case then they would just put in a quota on the 140 priority dates and not leave them current.

Unless you have a credible source(Which i seriously doubt) kindly please do not post false info on this forum
