I-485 for EB3 and PD Retrogression Issue in 8/2007

It seems like the PD of EB3 will be retrogressed back to 8/1/2002. I-485 for EB3 with PD 6/2004 was filed in 6/2007. In this case, what is the impact on the I-485? I-485 will not be processed/approved until PD of EB3 again becomes "current", or I-485 will be processed/approved when the visa number is available for my case as I-485 was filed? Or, something else? It is very confusing… :confused: :confused:

I was thinking/hoping that I-485 will be processed but VISA number won’t be available until PD is current or the VISA quota is available?? :confused:

They will process your case but will not able to approve it until the PD is current. A lot of people is in the pre-approved queue pending VISA#. So, when the flood gate opens in the last 2 months, a lot of old pending cases get approved.
 
Apparently, I-485 Is Being Processed

Unless you are from India or China, I think we belong in the same category, and I got my "Card Production Ordered" e-mail on Friday. So if you haven't received yours, you might be getting one soon.

PD - June 04 (I thought it was 02, but it's actually 04)
Labor approved: Dec 06
I-140, I-485, AP and EAD filed - 06/02/07: RD 06/05/07
I-140 AD: 6/17/07
FP: 6/29/07
I-485 LUD: 7/3/07, 8/10/07 (Card Production Ordered)
