I-485 for EB1 and EB2-NIW

Based on my reading on this forum and Rupnet, I conclude that EB1 and EB2-NIW people are waiting much longer time than EB3 guys for their I-485 approvals or RFEs. Am I right? Any input?

I heard about National Interest waiver but I never heard about EB2-NIW. Please clarify me.

EB2 category includes regular EB2, National Interest Waive (NIW), and others.
