I-485 Finally Approved!!!!!!

I checked the AVM after six (PM) today..... my case was approved Nov. 28, 2000.
PD: 2/96
RD/ND: 9/23/99
FP: 7/7/00
RFE: RD 11/8/00
AD: 11/28/00 (today)

It has been an ordeal. Thanks to this site. It gave me the hopes that the day I am waiting for will come.

My husband is also NIW and his I-140 was approved Oct 97. When did you hand in your 485? I thought you have to wait till you finish the three year requirement? Or Maybe we can apply early? He will meet the requirement by April 01. Can we apply 485 now?

I WAS NEVER ON J1 AND I HAVE BEEN ON H1B . AS LONG as your immigration
petion which is I---140 had been approved prior to nov 1998 your
husband does not fall under the NEW niw regs for md. i think you can
confirm this from ur lawyer or go to the doc posted in the federal
register after they were passed by the ins recently.

also just re checked the fdreal register ins reg for NIW for
physicians it states that they do not apply for immigrant petitions
approved by NOV 1999.ANWAY THE 3 YEAR PERIODS STARTS FROM THE TIME OF
UR 140 BEING APPROVED OR THE TIME OF GETTING A ead card which i have
also completed.
